Leo’s Ladies group sessions provide instruction to Beginners and Ladies that have played of any ability. The program covers the whole variety of shots and skills you need to be confident, consistent and score well during your practice or when having fun on the course. Classes are really enjoyable with social and friendly Ladies living around Worcester.

    If you don’t have any equipment there is no need to worry, anything you need will be lent to you F.O.C during the Lessons and for any time you’d like to practice in between.

    Although not often thought of when wishing to improve the Putter is the most used Club in your bag and taking too many Putts on a few or many greens has a huge influence over your score. We’ll look at the stroke and the skills you need to save shots when you’re close to or on the green.

    The main frustration of most Golfers is being unable to do something similar consistently on the course. We’ll look at what delivers consistency and how you can change your approach on the course to deliver more for you when playing too.

    Many people tend to go and practice and practice the shots their good at, this adds more enjoyment to your practice session but it doesn’t improve the problems you have on the course. We’ll identify the weaknesses in your bag and swing so you know what to practice to make your game stronger on the course.

    The Short Game

    We’ll look at the right set up, ball position, club selection and swing to control the flight of the ball and strike it consistently from the occasionally wet fairway. This is a different skill to when the ground is dry and bouncy but when striking the ball well a little easier as it stopping soon after landing is far more predictable on the wetter greens.

    Your Swing is a lot more than the 1 second you take making the movment to strike the ball. Watching a good Golfer they take some time to prepare for the shot they are going to play. In setting up perectly and selcting the right shot for the conditions and distance you face. This 10-15 second prearation has a huge influence over the confidence and quality of your swing.

    With the rough its a far more punishing place to be so we’ll look at analysing your lie, selecting the right club and the changes you can make to your set up and swing to get the ball back in a good position once you’ve found all sorts of lies in the rough while on the course.

    Hitting the ball harder often causes miss strikes and poor accuracy. Striking the ball well is what delivers power so we’ll look at the influential principles in your Swing along with getting some consistency in your ball striking too.
