The Session Overview
I’ll meet you in the furthest 2 bays of the Driving Range which you can see with some blue logo boards. (If it’s a session on the longer game if you’ve booked for the short game I’ll meet you on the Putting and chipping green). All range balls are supplied within the session and you’re welcome to buy a token to warm up or to do some practice following the session. If you’re a beginner and looking to borrow equipment that is no problem and I’ll have some to lend you.
Within the session, I’ll use video and simple training aids for you to importantly see and feel what you’re working on to improve. Firstly to identify the cause of any problems but to then keep learning the changes in a simple and easy to understand way.
Following the session, I’ll create a private online web page hosted within this site that’s protected with a password. After all sessions, I’ll upload a voice-over video summarising what we’ve worked on and showing your improvements. I also write notes from the session and info highlighting the area’s you’re working on with pictures & videos too.
I’ve put together about 60 different pages that cover the title on the block that covers pretty much every shot you encounter on the course. Describing all of the setup principles and lots about the Golf swing and set up changes we make when using the different clubs.
This is completely free to view and when having lessons these links are included on your private web page. I hope this helps to build your understanding and you can use it if you’re struggling with one of the principles, shots or clubs covered.
Remember that Golf coaching is still your best option to improve. Some people are aware of what they get wrong but no one ever identifies this and tells me the CAUSE. For example… You might do something different with your arms swinging through the ball. Working on improving this at that moment won’t improve the movement. Your arms might not be able to move any other way as the fault may have been caused by a bad grip. Then the fault is actually before you made your swing rather than at the point it appeared in your swing.

Started playing golf to help with my health and fitness and to be honest I hadn’t got a clue what I was doing when I started. I contacted Leo who did an assessment and ran through all of the options available to me. Leo was patient and took everything back to basics. Using some pretty impressive computer equipment he was able to show and teach me everything to get me really enjoying my Golf.
There was no pressure and Leo has a very relaxed way of teaching. Easily able to put you at ease so you concentrate on learning instead of worrying about everything else. He has a professional and smart approach & clearly takes pride in what he does and enjoys seeing others develop. Thanks, Leo you did a great job!
I started golf lessons at Ravenmeadow a couple of years ago, I had no previous experience before that. With the expert tuition and encouragement of Leo, I have moved on from being a complete novice to feeling confident about going around the course and really enjoying playing Golf. I am actually going on a corporate golf day soon, something I would not have dreamed of doing last year.
Ravenmeadow is a lovely 9 hole course and just perfect for ladies who have a busy life, I manage to make time for golf now as I enjoy it so much. I am improving all the time but still no expert but he is always on hand to encourage me or give me some tips. I’m going to sign up for more lessons over the winter as I find them invaluable.
I cannot thank Leo enough for helping me develop my game of golf and for taking an active interest in how I am progressing along the way, I cannot recommend him highly enough, I think he’s brilliant.
Over the last couple of years, Leo has been teaching my eldest son golf through his golf academy. Just over a year ago we embarked on a project which would see Leo teaching but also guiding and supporting my son through his Sports Studies GCSE.
Nothing was ever too much for Leo when my son had his lessons, Leo created a unique website just for my son where he created and uploaded each of his lesson learnings, golf etiquette, video’s, techniques and so much more….
A lot of what Leo did for my son was in his own time and we will be eternally grateful to Leo for his commitment, guidance with the GCSE criteria and of course his invaluable input and advise.
Really enjoyed my lessons! The analysis is comprehensive and Leo breaks down the changes & improvements into bite-sized chunks. I played have played twice in the 4 days since the first lesson (making the most of the great weather) and I seem to be hitting the ball a lot better and more consistently. Would recommend Leo without hesitation!
