I’m Leo, offering Golf Lessons & Coaching to everyone from Ravenmeadow Golf Centre in Worcester. I welcome all Golfers or Beginners to enjoy playing, improving or learning their Golf with me, I cater for all abilities. Whether you’ve never picked up a club, if you are looking to add a new social or fitness activity to your lifestyle. I help golfers improve their consistency & to improve their social or competitive play. I’ll make sure we’ll achieve success with everything you’d like to learn or improve.

The Popularity of Golf, in improving and taking up a new sport and healthy physical activity is on the increase. We can will outdoors at Ravenmeadow or on the Driving Range learning and playing golf and I’m using the latest Technology to aid your Learning and Understanding of what you’re working on to IMPROVE. We can therefore all enjoy playing the sport we love or take the opportunity to learn something new.

Individual Coaching and Group Coaching is available. There is a variety of 1 to 1 sessions and package plans along with Women’s Love.golf Groups too.

Meet Leo

I’ve been a PGA Golf Professional, specialising in teaching Golf for over 18 years.  I love to share the great time I’ve had playing Golf with everyone that wants to learn or improve. I’m proud to have an excellent reputation for delivering golf lessons at Ravenmeadow in Worcester. Teaching golf and improving golfers of all abilities in a friendly environment with great facilities

I’ve gained my experience from coaching at a variety of clubs in England and Europe. I work with complete beginners through to golfers aspiring to really improve or to fix a specific problem. My broad experience means I personalise my approach to suit the individual needs of everybody I teach. I create a relaxed environment for golfers & beginners to enjoy their journey.

Delivering Golf Lessons at Ravenmeadow in Worcester. I use video coaching (Included in all sessions). Following the session, I send your link to download my coaching app where the voice over videos and anything else that will be useful for you to view and continuously improve.

Worcester Women’s

Worcestershire Women’s Group Golf coaching is offered by me at Ravenmeadow in Worcester. Ravenmeadow has a really friendly atmosphere. The classes are held at a variety of times to include Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, it’s open for everyone. It’s open to all women to meet some like-minded local women who want to start, learn and improve golf in our RELAXED & FRIENDLY environment.

You don’t need anything to start off and join in, all the equipment will be leant to you so you can just come along in comfortable clothing and be ready to join in. The groups are social and fun and you’ll learn all you need to enjoy playing golf. If you’ve got some experience or you are a complete beginner you’re welcome to come along and join in on any week of the year. We will cover all the basics but we won’t be hitting ball after ball on a driving range. We’re out to have fun!

Ravenmeadow in Worcester has the perfect relaxed attitude and friendly culture & all sessions will be in groups. You can just turn up in anything comfortable and enjoy the experience.

The Session Overview

Ravenmeadow – Worcester
I’ll meet you in the furthest 2 bays of the Driving Range which you can see with some blue logo boards. (If it’s a session on the longer game if you’ve booked for the short game I’ll meet you on the Putting and chipping green). All range balls are supplied within the session and you’re welcome to buy a token to warm up or to do some practice following the session. If you’re a beginner and looking to borrow equipment that is no problem and I’ll have some to lend you.

Within the session, I’ll use video and simple training aids for you to importantly see and feel what you’re working on to improve. Firstly to identify the cause of any problems but to then keep learning the changes in a simple and easy to understand way.

Following the session, I’ll create a private online Library in the Coaching app I use – OnForm. After all sessions, I’ll upload a voice-over video summarising what we’ve worked on and showing your improvements along with any other images of videos that will help you to continuously improve.

Group Lessons

There are currently no Group sessions on offer. This doesn’t mean you can’t put your own group together. I’ve delivered many for groups of 3 to 6 Men & Women who have wanted to enjoy the journey together so please get in touch if this is something you are interest in.

The group sessions provide instruction to Golfers of all abilities. We cover the whole variety of shots you need to be confident, consistent and score well during a round. Classes are really enjoyable with social and friendly with golfers living around Worcester. Any member or guest is welcome to join in and use our great practice facilities to improve

All the setup fundamentals such as the grip, alignment, stance, and swing. Along with all the shots, Putting, chipping, bunkers, Irons, woods etc. I’ll give you a practice plan in a private online diary where you’ll be able to view your lesson video’s and see what you’re working on to improve. If you’re a beginner I’ll cover the basic rules of the game and we’ll look at how to ‘Play’ golf on the course too.

Yes, at Ravenmeadow we have a covered Driving Range which will shield you from the elements. You’ll just need to dress for the hot or cold temperature on the day. If we’ve got a playing lesson on the course and we’re facing heavy rain I’ll be in touch with you before hand and we can rearrange this for a better day.

Ravenmeadow has a very relaxed and modern approach to make everyone feel comfortable, just come along in comfortable clothing to suit the temperature (The Driving Range is undercover so no need to worry about rain).  When having a golf lesson you are welcome to turn up in casual attire. Jeans are acceptable and clothing which offers a good range of movement is advisable. Trainers are perfect if you don’t have golf shoes.

No problem, I have all the necessary equipment to suit all ages from juniors to adults both male and female. You will be leant all the equipment you need to learn and practice free of charge and when you’re ready I can advise you on the ideal purchases.

All range balls and equipment if you need to borrow it are included in the cost of the Lessons. Balls to warm up with or practice with following the session are not included though so you can purchase a token from the Pro shop if you wish to do this before or after.

Lessons are generally conducted in the furthest 2 bays of the Driving Range where you can see some branded blue signs on the back wall. You will either see me there as you arrive or I’ll meet you there at the time of your appointment.

If you have booked a short Game or Putting Lessons and mentioned this in the booking notes I’ll meet you beside the Chipping green at your appointment time.

If it’s a Playing Lesson then i’ll meet you beside the 1st tee 10 minutes before our booked tee time.

You can pay for your Lessons or Packages when using the Online booking system on this website. If you would like to pay on the day then you can pay me by card on the Driving Range. The same applies to any individual Lessons or Group Classes unless there is a pre-payment plan in place which you will be made aware of when booking.

Ravenmeadow is a lovely 9 hole course and just perfect for ladies who have a busy life, I manage to make time for golf now as I enjoy it so much. I am improving all the time but still no expert but he is always on hand to encourage me or give me some tips. I’m going to sign up for more lessons over the winter as I find them invaluable.

Over the last couple of years, Leo has been teaching my eldest son golf through his golf academy. Just over a year ago we embarked on a project which would see Leo teaching but also guiding and supporting my son through his Sports Studies GCSE.

Nothing was ever too much for Leo when my son had his lessons, Leo created a unique website just for my son where he created and uploaded each of his lesson learnings, golf etiquette, video’s, techniques and so much more….
